HELP OUT AT RC4G
RC4G Peterborough is a small organization that has been successful only because of the
amazing support we've had from other musicians, music stores, volunteers, camper parents,
friends and others in the community. There are many ways that you can help us keep the
Rock Camp experience alive for girls and young women in the Peterborough area and
beyond.
VOLUNTEER
RC4G welcomes volunteers to help out with a number of tasks, both during camp and
throughout the year. Volunteer tasks at camp range from hauling gear to teaching
instrument lessons to preparing snacks. We welcome past rock campers to continue their
involvement with RC4G as volunteer camp interns. In some cases, volunteering at RC4G
may count towards high school community service hour requirements. (Please note that
volunteers working directly with campers must be female.)
Prospective summer camp volunteers can fill out our online Volunteer Application Form. If
you would like more information about volunteer opportunities at camp, contact us at
705-748-4987 or by email at rc4gpeterborough@gmail.com.
Outside of camp, we need help with tasks like organizing fundraising events, researching
and developing new programs, distributing promotional materials and repairing gear. Please
contact us for more information.
DONATE GEAR
It takes a lot of gear to run a rock camp! We are always in need of electric guitars and
basses, amps, drums, keyboards, cables, tuners, stands, PA equipment or any other rock 'n
roll accessories. If you have musical equipment that you can lend or donate to RC4G,
please contact us at 705-748-4987 or by email at rc4gpeterborough@gmail.com.
DONATE MONEY
Cash donations will be used to purchase equipment and provide subsidies to campers who
cannot afford to pay full fees for summer camp or other RC4G activities. Donations can be
mailed or dropped off to 762 Armour Rd., Peterborough, ON, K9H 2A1. Please make
cheques payable to RC4G Peterborough. If you would like your donation to be directed
towards a specific need, please let us know.
