Full registration fees for RC4G 2013 are $225. RC4G Peterborough operates on a very tight budget and relies heavily on donations of volunteer time and gear, so we ask those who can afford to pay the full fee to do so.
However, we know that not everyone can afford these fees. Thanks to the generous support of our community and our very successful Women’s Rock Weekend events, we are able to offer a limited number of registration fee subsidies for RC4G participants. The deadline for application is June 1, 2013.
In order to make our fund available to as many girls as possible, we encourage anyone in need of financial assistance to first investigate other avenues of support. For example, the City of Peterborough offers a recreation subsidy to qualified individuals that can be used for Rock Camp registration. (Contact the City of Peterborough Recreation Department at 742- 7777 ext 1827.) Other municipalities and agencies may offer similar programs.
RC4G’s registration fee subsidy is available on a sliding scale, depending on need. We do not ask for any formal documentation to establish your financial situation, so we rely on you to honestly assess your financial situation and to pay what you can afford. If you do require a full subsidy, however, don’t hesitate to request it.
We'll do our best to provide all needed financial support, but due to the limited size of our fund we may have to turn down some requests or offer subsidy at a lower level than requested. We will inform applicants of their success by June 15.
Subsidy request guidelines:
Household income less than $20,000 - request full subsidy or pay what you can Household income less than $40,000 - pwyc or request full subsidy if needed Household income over $40,000 - pay full fee or pay what you can Household income over $80,000 - pay full fee unless extenuating circumstances
